Alan Roldan Caicedo Solís, born in San Pedro Sula on 22 December 1951. Clement is the son of Rafael and Margarita Caicedo Caicedo. She studied elementary education at San Viciente de Paul School. Started secondary school in La Salle and ended in New York, USA, in 1972. During the elementary school was artistic, well then he liked to draw all sorts of figures, some of which strikingly colored. Unlike what happened in other cases, teachers of Alan encouraged these tendencies, so that at an early age came up with the idea of becoming an artist.
After graduating in 1976 Engineer Agronomist in Rivas, Nicaragua, at the International School of Agriculture.

- 1989: Gold Medal at the First Biennial of Plastic Arts at the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Honduras (UNAH).
- 1984: Selected by the Cultural Center Sampedrano to participate in the American Festival of Arts, in Panama., Sponsored by the Binational Cultural de Costa Rica and the United States.
- 1996: First Central American Arts Plastic. Exhibition at the National Institute of Culture Panama.
